John Severe is a Stillwater attorney and primarily practices civil and criminal law in Stillwater, Perry, Pawnee, Guthrie, Chandler, Drumright and other cities and towns in Oklahoma. We are here to help you with any legal matter. Most of our cases involve criminal law, injuries and auto accidents, divorce, paternity, child custody, wills, trusts, probate, civil litigation, real estate, and juvenile matters. John has practiced law in Stillwater since 1978. He is a Former Assistant District Attorney for Payne and Logan Counties and has served as City Attorney for Stillwater and Yale. In addition to practicing law, John has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma State University.

John is an AV Preeminent rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

Born and raised in Perry, Oklahoma, John graduated from Oklahoma State University and the OCU School of Law. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at OSU and Phi Delta Phi at OCU Law.
